What Does Cabo Know About Wine?
By: admin
I’ve been to Cabo San Lucas enough to know that there really is something for everyone. If you’re not interested in long walks on white-sand beaches, surfing the blue waters of the Pacific or playing 18 holes on world-class golf courses, then you might be interested in desert dune buggy racing, the wild nightlife or just relaxing by the pool of your Cabo San Lucas Resort. Of course, if you’re not really into any of these things, you can always do some offshore fishing, go shopping, or take tour of the surrounding coastline. And of course, I could go on with this list.
I’ll have to admit that, until recently, I never thought that I’d mention Cabo and fine wine in the same sentence. For all the wine connoisseurs, Cabo has something for you too.
* Cabo San Lucas International Wine Festival - Each year, Cabo holds an international wine festival which features wine from wineries all over the globe. Just a few participating countries include Mexico, the United States, France, Australia and Italy. This 4-day event includes wine dinners, tastings and seminars sure to satisfy you’re pallet and send you home a little wobbly.
* Wine Cruise Tours - In Cabo, you’ll also find a few tour companies that will take you to see the majestic Pacific sunset aboard a luxury vessel as you sip on fine wines, both local and imported. As the evening wears on, many will serve dinner or hors d’oeuvres while Jazz music fills the air.
Even with the closest winery several hundred miles away, Cabo still manages to serve up good times for the wine enthusiasts. Of course, this is what we’ve come to expect from this world-class vacation destination.
